VIDEO: Slim Thug - I Run
1. Call me crazy, but I'm loving the 80s-chorus trend in hip-hop over the past few years. "Sunglasses At Night," "Died In Your Arms," those were bangers. Watch out for Flo Rida's new single, he re-does "Right Round," the single drops any minute now. You know, the song from The Wedding Singer? The funniest part of this is I'm serious.
2. H-Town's skyline never looks this nice. Ever. That's gotta be CGI.

Lil' Keke feat. Slim Thug, Tre & Paul Wall - Money In Tha City
It's only been a year since I left Texas, and there's already a H-Town somebody who I haven't heard of? Who the eff is Tre?
*UPDATE: Pete pointed out that I might have confused Tre with TRAE. Not the case. Tre is the one singing in the high voice...so now we know, this is clearly a new breed of Tre we're dealing with here. Thanks, Piz.

Slim Thug going back on his grind.

Thugga says he's working out a deal to get out of the major label so he can start releasing his shit on his own once again. The whole story's here, but this quote just about sums it up:
"If I'm supposed to be the mutha----ing boss, then I should be putting my [own] sh-- out," he explained.
