Can I smell it (again)?

The "smell yo' dick" girl is back!

...not really, but this remix brings back fond memories of 2007. Enjoy, sicktards.

Rosenberg Round Table: Is "Arab Money" racist?

Hip-hop's favorite Jew sits down with some Arab emcees to get the lowdown on Busta's controversial new song.

Pharrell and the nerds get their recession on for this new clip.

Adele + Naledge

Naledge (of Kidz in the Hall) turns Adele's ballad into a hip-hop banger, part of Mick Boogie's "Adele 1988" project. This is SO post-worthy.

The project comes from the folks who did last month's Viva La Hova project, so odds are this hip-hop/Adele mash session should be dope as ever.

Shout-out to Ike, the latest of many late bloomers to Adele's talents.

Dr. Dre on a Kardinal Offishall track...and it's real?

According to DJ Skee, Jimmy Iovine sent the "Set It Off" vid to Dre since his new line of headphones made an appearance. He liked the song so much that he decided to lend a verse. Granted, this was at a time when Dre thought he should be hyping himself up in the coming weeks before the release of Detox...which is NOT the case anymore. Enjoy, the doctor don't come around much these days...

VIDEO: Charles Hamilton - Brooklyn Girls

Still can't decide if I think this guy will go the distance.

For those who view the glass as half-empty, peep this brilliant analogous article comparing Hamilton's challenging of Soulja Boy to the Godfather trilogy. Pure genius.

Jay-Z - Jockin' Jay-Z (Travis Barker Remix)

I assume this was made before Travis's tragic accident, but good to hear some new stuff from him nonetheless.

VIDEO: Lily Allen - The Fear

The world's most shamelessly-outspoken pop starlet is back. The song is fine, but this vid strings too close to Feist's "1, 2, 3, 4." Right?

Mad love to Stone for using my picks as the debut feature for The Couch Sessions Best of 2008 series. Though I planned on creating an extensive Best of 2008 thing on DDoff Daily at some point, dude kindly asked for my pics and I sent this over...albeit a bit haphazardly.

?uestlove Interview with DJ Semtex

SEMTEX TV - ?UESTLOVE BREAKS DOWN THE HOTTEST MC'S FOR 09' from DJ SEMTEX on Vimeo.

I usually don't post interviews because most of them are pretty lame...but not this one!

Quest calls out Jim Jones, Ron Browz, and HSIC (of H-Town!) as some of the names to watch in '09.

Did Coldplay really copy Joe Satch?

In case you weren't aware, Coldplay has been sued by guitar god Joe Satriani for copying the riff of his track "If I Could Fly" for the title track to the Viva La Vida album. Sounds ridiculous, right? Well, watch this video and think again...

HILAR ALERT: Andy Samberg and Lonely Island

Featuring cameos from Molly Sims, Jamie Lynn Sigler, and Justin Timberlake. Absolute hilarity.

VIDEO: Wale - Nike Boots

18 months (at least) in the making.

Shout-out to Wale, D-Weis and the fam on the release (finally!) of Wale's first official video.

To the right, to the right...

It's an age-old tale.

Dude starts a blog.
Dude stays excited for awhile, then falls off.
Dude quits blog.

Now hold up, everybody (all three of you). This blog is NOT over. But after 10 months and 100,000+ hits to DDoff Daily (thanks to everyone for the love), there's gonna be some changes 'round here.

Unless it's what I think is a HUGE (or HUGELY TEXAN) joint, I will be posting all new mp3s on the mini-feed only (it's over there, on the top of the right side). You might notice that there's been twenty-or-so new songs over there just in the past couple days...

All other jawns (videos, news, etc.) will still be posted right here on DDoff Daily. But for those interested in the music only, look to the right from this point forward.

And that's what it do, what it does, what it is, what it was -- ddoff
